Chris Atwood Foundation

The Chris Atwood Foundation is a peer-driven community organization in Northern Virginia that works to provide FREE life saving recovery support and resources to people impacted by substance use, to create policy changes that serve the health and well-being of the community, and to help prevent substance use disorder.

CMC: Foundation for Change

CMC:Foundation for Change is dedicated to providing evidence-based tools for change to everyone who cares about a person struggling with substance use. We have taken the best science has to offer and translated it into a practical, compassionate, and accessible approach for helping called the Invitation to Change (ITC). Through training, support groups and community infrastructure building, we use the ITC to help family, friends, treatment providers, and community leaders have an impact on the terrible toll taken by substance use.

Colorado Behavioral Health Administration

The Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) is the state administration responsible for ensuring all people in Colorado have access to quality mental health and substance use disorder services, regardless of where they live, or ability to pay. BHA will help bring together community groups and governmental agencies to design a behavioral health system for all people in Colorado that is easy to access and offers high-quality care that considers the whole person and their needs.

Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation

The CHCC functions as an integrated healthcare system that brings together a wide scope of services including primary, outpatient, and inpatient care; ancillary services including laboratory, pharmacy, and physical therapy; population health services including public and environmental health; and mental and behavioral health services. Through this integration under a single organizational structure, the CHCC provides the majority of healthcare services in the CNMI.

Connecticut Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services

The Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services, is the lead agency that addresses substance use prevention, treatment and recovery in the state of Connecticut
 

Courage to Caregivers

Courage to Caregivers is a nonprofit that supports unpaid family caregivers of those living with behavioral health needs. We offer three programs at no cost to the participant and are currently being offered virtually. About our programs: 

Our curriculum has 12 themes and 52 topics that provide tools to build stronger coping strategies and greater resilience for caregivers. Our programs focus entirely on the caregiver and their health and well-being.

The Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health, Department of Health and Social Services, is the lead agency that addresses substance use prevention, treatment and recovery in the state of Delaware.

District of Columbia Department of Behavioral Health

The Department of Behavioral Health is the lead agency that addresses substance use prevention, treatment and recovery in the District of Columbia.
 

Drug Free America Foundation, Inc.

Drug Free America Foundation (DFAF) is a nonprofit organization committed to preventing substance use and its devastating effects on individuals, families, and communities. DFAF focuses on promoting prevention, supporting recovery, and advocating for evidence-based policies through education, professional training, and global collaboration. By equipping communities with resources, fostering drug-free workplaces, and influencing public policies, DFAF strives to build healthier, safer, and more resilient communities locally and globally.

Drug Free Dickson Coalition

The Drug Free Dickson Coalition (DFDC) is committed to uniting the community to prevent and reduce substance misuse, especially among youth. Supported by grants from the TN Department of Mental Health, CDC, TBI, and others, DFDC targets underage tobacco and alcohol use and prescription drug misuse across all ages. The mission of the Drug Free Dickson Coalition is to reduce and prevent alcohol, tobacco, and drug misuse in Dickson County—particularly among youth and prescription drug misuse across all age groups—through awareness, education, and action.
