Join DEA at National Night Out in Webster Groves, Tuesday, August 4, beginning at 6 p.m.

Something exciting is rolling into Webster Groves… 

National Night Out is Tuesday, August 4 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Benny Gordon Recreation Center.  Engage with the police officers, firefighters, and city staff who serve the community every day.  

The annual event promotes crime prevention, public safety awareness, and community partnerships while creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for families.  

Join the City of Webster Groves for this free, hands-on experience featuring a large display of trucks and equipment from Police, Fire, Parks, and Public Works.  

The Webster Groves Fire Department will assist with the landing of a helicopter from the Metro Air Support Unit before demonstrating the “jaws of life” rescue tools in a live exercise.  A K-9 demonstration is also planned with area law enforcement.  

Free admission will be provided to the Webster Groves Water Park. 

The Webster Groves Lions Club is firing up the grill for hamburgers and hotdogs, while Schnucks is providing free snacks and water.  KVC Health System has stepped up to sponsor Kona Ice for the event.  

Nearly two dozen community partners are offering giveaways and safety information for families in attendance.  

Beyond Webster Groves, many neighboring police departments are participating including those from Shrewsbury, Brentwood, Eureka, Ellisville, Crestwood, and St. Louis County along with federal agencies such as the U.S. Marshals Service, DEA, FBI, and ATF.
