Administrator Cole's Statement On U.S. Department of Treasury Sanctions Targeting CJNG

"The Jalisco New Generation Cartel has poisoned American communities with fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and heroin for far too long. Today's action demonstrates that the United States is committed to attacking this terrorist organization beyond the drug trade by dismantling the financial networks that fuel its violence and criminal enterprise. DEA, alongside our federal partners, will continue to pursue CJNG relentlessly, targeting its leaders, facilitators, finances, and every network they depend on until they can no longer threaten the safety and security of the American people."
