Montana DPHHS- Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities Division

The Prevention Bureau provides services through Block Grants, Formula Grants, Discretionary Grants, and Emergency Grants. These are Federal Grants to provide Substance Use Treatment & Prevention, Peer Support Services, Individuals Experiencing Homelessness, and Recovery Support Services. The Prevention Bureau works with a diverse group of stakeholders to help support the mission of DPHHS: Improving and protecting the health, well-being, and self-reliance of all Montanans.

My Child's Life Matters

With a mission to spread awareness and education about the dangers of illicit fentanyl, We have dedicated our lives to try to prevent similar tragedies and breaking the stigma surrounding drug-related deaths, otherwise known as a drug induced homicide. Since founding the organization in 2016, we have been at the forefront of community engagement, tirelessly working to connect with families affected by illicit drug poisoning deaths. Their compassionate approach has fostered a supportive network where individuals can share their stories and find solace together.

NACoA - National Association for Children of Addiction (for organizations)

NACoA serves as a vital resource for individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction and/or parental substance use disorders (SUD), and the organizations who support them. As a trusted organization with over 41 years of experience, NACoA provides expert guidance, educational materials, and supportive programs tailored to meet the unique needs of children and families hurt by SUDs. People visit NACoA's website seeking compassionate support, practical coping strategies, and a sense of community.

National Crime Prevention Council

McGruff the Crime Dog® and NCPC envision a world where people feel safe and are active participants in keeping themselves and others from becoming victims of crime. Today’s world contains an increasing array of threats to public health and safety. Deaths from guns, illicit drugs, and automobile fatalities from illegal acts are driving a historic decline in U.S. life expectancy. Public support and involvement in crime prevention will reduce this trend.

National Family Partnership (for organizations)

The National Family Partnership, NFP, was founded in 1980 with Nancy Reagan as the Honorary Chairman.  NFP is the original Parent Movement. Best known for establishing and coordinating The Red Ribbon Campaign Annually from October 23-31. NFP believe Participation is the Key to Prevention.

The Division of Behavioral Health Services, Department of Health and Human Services, is the lead agency that addresses substance use prevention, treatment and recovery in the state of Nebraska.

The Division of Public and Behavioral Health, Department of Health and Human Services, addresses substance use prevention, treatment and recovery in the state of Nevada.
 

Not One More Alabama

Not One More Alabama is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families impacted by substance use. We provide free programs that include family education and support groups, treatment navigation, grief support, and community outreach. Our team includes professionals and peers with lived experience who offer compassionate guidance and practical resources. Through prevention efforts, recovery support, and public education, we work to reduce the stigma of addiction and promote healing.

Omni Youth Programs

Omni Youth Programs mission is to prevent youth drug use by creating strong families, developing youth leaders, and engaging the community to be free of youth alcohol, marijuana, opioid and drug use. For over 45 years we served 10-24 y.o.’s, parents, professionals and communities develop skills and knowledge using education, cultural sensitivity, and social and emotional support.  

Services are provided free and adapted to each cultural and community.
