Distributor of fake pills containing fentanyl sentenced to more than three years in federal prison
ORLANDO, Fla. - Antonio Walthour (28, Clarksville, TN) was sentenced to three years and six months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances. Walthour pleaded guilty on January 16, 2020.
According to court documents, this investigation began in February 2016 in response to a fatal drug overdose occurring at the home of Eric and Holly Falkowski, who were running a counterfeit prescription pill operation out of their home in Kissimmee. The Falkowskis were using fentanyl to make pills and pressing them to look like legitimate pharmaceutical controlled substances with markings such as “Xanax,” “Lortab,” “Percocet,” or “Watson.” In the summer of 2015, Walthour agreed to receive these pills and resell them for a profit. Walthour received and sold thousands of the pills in Tennessee before being arrested for this activity in August 2015.
In 2017, Eric and Holly Falkowski were sentenced for their roles in the conspiracy to 188 months and 36 months, respectively.
This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration Orlando District Office. It was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.
