(ORLANDO, Fla.) - Michael Gordon Watson (41, Melbourne) was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison yesterday for possessing with the intent to distribute more than 1 kilogram of methamphetamine, more than 3 kilograms of marijuana, and a large quantity of MDMA. Watson also possessed two loaded firearms at the time of his arrest, which the court ordered him to forfeit. Watson pleaded guilty on March 13, 2018.

On September 25, 2017, an officer with the Palm Bay Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by Watson and confirmed that Watson had a suspended driver’s license. A police canine unit was dispatched to the scene and alerted positively to the presence of drugs in Watson’s vehicle.
