PHOENIX, AZ. - The United States Attorney’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, Arizona (High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area) and DrugFreeAz.org, The Partnership for a Drug-Free America, Arizona Affiliate are hosting an educational summit to identify and respond to the complex issues that influence the abuse and use of prescription drugs in Arizona’s communities.
The goal of the summit is to enhance the District of Arizona’s capacity to prevent, detect, investigate and prosecute the illegal diversion, abuse and distribution of all prescription drugs.
Attendees include law enforcement, prosecutors, health and medical professional, prevention specialist, mental health professionals, educators, pharmacists and community coalition directors.
What: - An educational summit on prescription drug abuse.
