DEA Operation Engage is hosting a free virtual Drug-Free Workplace Training for workplace leaders across Albuquerque and Northern New Mexico on Monday, November 9, 2026, from 9:00am to 1:00pm MST.
The half-day training is designed for business owners, HR professionals, supervisors and managers, safety and operations leaders, university personnel, faith and nonprofit leaders, construction crew leaders and supervisors, and others who help shape workplace policy or respond to employee concerns.
Participants will explore practical approaches to workplace substance-use prevention, including New Mexico cannabis considerations, objective signs of impairment and supervisor response, drug-free workplace policy, EAP and referral resources, and strategies for putting an organizational action plan into practice.
The session is virtual and free to attend. Participants will also have opportunities to reconnect after the training to share progress, work through implementation challenges, and continue learning with other workplace leaders and local partners.
