(OCALA, Fla.) - A federal jury yesterday found Santonio Juvon Jackson (35, Ocala) guilty of possession, distribution, and conspiracy to possess and distribute heroin and fentanyl. He faces a minimum mandatory penalty of 10 years in federal prison, and up to life, on each count. A sentencing date has not yet been set. Jackson was indicted on December 6, 2017.

According to testimony and evidence presented at trial, on October 26, 2017, Jackson conspired with others to deliver six ounces of heroin and fentanyl in the Ocala area.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration Gainesville Resident Office and the Marion County Unified Drug Enforcement Strike Team. It was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida.
