ANCHORAGE, AK. - - Acting Special Agent in Charge, Mark Thomas announced that on January 19, 2011, Naron Celestine, a.k.a. “Cole”, 40, a resident of Anchorage, Alaska, was sentenced to 188 months in prison for his participation in a conspiracy to distribute five kilograms of cocaine.

According to information presented to the court, Celestine pled guilty to conspiring with Steven Lamont Riley and Tillman Bradley, III, to distribute multiple kilograms of cocaine in 2005. As part of his sentence, Celestine also forfeited a gold and diamond medallion valued at close to $100,000. According to the Anchorage Police Department, the medallion is alleged to have been at the center of a disturbance that resulted in the shooting death of Joe Alford Young at the Sport’s Authority in Anchorage during the summer of 2009. Lamont Riley was sentenced to 60 months in prison. Tillman Bradley continues to remain a fugitive.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Anchorage Police Department.
