Terrebonne Woman Sentenced To 10 Years For Drug Trafficking
NEW ORLEANS, LA. - Niki Aguillard, 41, a resident of Houma, Louisiana, was sentenced by U. S. District Judge Helen G. Berrigan to ten (120 months) imprisonment for being part of a conspiracy involving the trafficking of 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. In addition to the term of imprisonment, Judge Berrigan imposed five years of supervised release following the term of imprisonment.
On June 3, 2011, Aguillard previously entered a guilty plea admitting that over a course of time she had purchased and sold methamphetamine from and to others in furtherance of the conspiracy. She had also made several sales of methamphetamine to a confidential source.
This case was investigated by special agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration and state agents with the Terrebonne Narcotics Task Force. The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Kevin G. Boitmann.
