Trenton Man Admits Participation In Cocaine Trafficking Conspiracyg

TRENTON, N.J. - - Carl J. Kotowski, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New Jersey Division, and Paul J. Fishman, U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey announced a Trenton, New Jersey, man today admitted his role in a conspiracy to sell more than 1.5 kilograms of cocaine and more than 87 grams of cocaine base in the Trenton area.

William Enmond, 53, pled guilty before U.S. District Judge Michael A. Shipp in Trenton federal court to an indictment charging him with one count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine, and to manufacture, distribute, and possess with intent to distribute 28 grams or more of cocaine base.

From September 2013 through his arrest on January 13, 2016 Enmond conspired with co-defendants Bobby Williams, Khalfini Richardson, and Capitol T. Wellons to distribute cocaine, and to manufacture and distribute cocaine base, primarily from two adjacent residences in Trenton. On September 6, 2013, Enmond sold 446.5 grams of cocaine to a confidential government source in exchange for $17,320.00. Enmond admitted to conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 1.72 kilograms of cocaine and to conspiring to manufacture as well as distribute, and possess with intent to distribute, 87.9 grams of cocaine base.

The count to which Enmond pled guilty carries a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison, a maximum of 40 years in prison and a fine of up to $5 million or twice the gross profits or other proceeds to Enmond. Sentencing is scheduled for June 13, 2017.
