MIAMI - Donavan Antwan Daniels, 36, of Lakeland, Florida, has pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 28 grams or more of crack cocaine. He faces a minimum mandatory penalty of five years, up to 40 years, in federal prison. A sentencing date has not yet been set.

According to the plea agreement, during June and July 2015, Daniels sold crack cocaine to a law enforcement confidential source on four separate occasions. These transactions took place in Lakeland, Florida.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Lakeland Police Department. It is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorneys Maria Chapa-Lopez and Taylor G. Stout.
