M.R. Disnadda Diskul “Khun Chai”, Secretary General of the Mae Fah Luang Foundation, will discuss sustainable development and education efforts for the local hill tribe villagers - a model of success now being duplicated around the world. Khun Chai previously served as Private Secretary of Her Royal Highness The Princess Mother - the mother of the current King of Thailand! He will be joined by Joseph Reagan, DEA Regional Director for Southeast Asia, who will discuss operations by DEA and the Royal Thai Police to end drug trafficking in Thailand over the past three decades.

This discussion will be moderated by Tritia Toyota, an award-winning broadcast journalist with more than 25 years in Southern California television news, and currently an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Anthropology and Asian American Studies at UCLA.
