Former Canaan Man Pleads Guilty To Cocaine And Oxycodone Distribution Conspiracy
(BANGOR, Maine - Michael J. Ferguson, Acting Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration for New England and United States Attorney Thomas E. Delahanty II announced that Frank Curtis, 35 - , formerly of Canaan, Maine pleaded guilty today in U.S. District Court to conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute and to distribute cocaine and oxycodone.
According to court records, between January 2010 and March 2012, Curtis conspired with Maurice McCray, William Waters and others in Waterville, Maine and surrounding communities to obtain cocaine and oxycodone from out-of-state dealers, bring it to Central Maine and distribute it.
The defendant faces up to 20 year in prison and a $1,000,000 fine. He will be sentenced after the completion of a presentence investigation report by the U.S. Probation Office.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency with assistance from the Waterville Police Department.
