LITTLE ROCK—A federal jury has convicted Kyle Keith Robinson of conspiracy to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The trial, which spanned two days, ended on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, with guilty verdicts on all counts he was charged with in the Indictment. Jonathan D. Ross, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas, announced the verdict.

Robinson, 43, of Conway, was indicted by a federal grand jury on August 5, 2025, and went to trial facing two charges, conspiracy to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Evidence at trial proved that on August 15, 2024, investigators from the North Little Rock Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence of an individual suspected of selling methamphetamine. When officers arrived to execute the warrant, Robinson was observed sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle parked in the driveway, with another individual, co-defendant Bryan Matthews, sitting in the passenger seat. Robinson fled on foot from officers. While fleeing, Robinson became entangled in a briar patch, enabling officers to apprehend Robinson and place him into custody. During a search of Robinson’s vehicle, officers located 83 grams of methamphetamine in the driver’s side door pocket. Robinson also had more than $1,500 in cash, most of that in $20s, on his person. Robinson has five prior felonies for distribution of controlled substances.

After deliberating for approximately 30 minutes, the jury found Robinson guilty of all counts he was charged with in the Indictment. Following the guilty verdicts on the charges, Robinson was taken into custody to await sentencing. On each of the charges, Robinson faces a sentence of five years to 40 years in prison, with at least four years of supervised release to follow. There is no parole in the federal system.

Robinson’s criminal history includes four felony state convictions for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and two separate federal felony convictions for conspiracy to distribute marijuana, heroin, cocaine, and oxycodone, and two counts of possession with intent to distribute cocaine.

The investigation was conducted by the North Little Rock Police Department with assistance from the Drug Enforcement Administration. The case was prosecuted and tried by Assistant United States Attorneys Bart Dickinson and Michael Gordon.
