Today, we pause to remember a day that forever changed our nation - and our DEA family.

Thirty-one years ago, the Oklahoma City bombing claimed 168 innocent lives in an act of senseless violence that shook the conscience of this country. Among those we lost were five members of the Drug Enforcement Administration: Shelly D. Bland, Rona L. Chafey, Carrol J. Fields, Carrie A. Lenz, and Kenneth G. McCullough.

They were dedicated public servants, colleagues, and friends.

We honor their lives not only in remembrance, but in the mission we carry forward every day. Their legacy lives on in the work we do, in the values we uphold, and in our commitment to serve and protect the American people.

Today, and every day, we remember.
