CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Cameron L. Robinson, 31, of Sikeston, Missouri, has been sentenced to serve 10 years in federal prison for the offense of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl. Robinson appeared for his sentencing hearing today at the federal courthouse in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Court documents reflect that in March 2023, law enforcement officers responded to Robinson’s residence in Sikeston to arrest him on an outstanding warrant. While on the premises, officers discovered a large bag containing over a half pound of fentanyl concealed in a barbecue grill on the back porch. 

At a guilty plea hearing earlier this year, Robinson admitted that the fentanyl belonged to him, and he further admitted that he intended to distribute it. After serving the 10-year sentence, Robinson will be placed on supervised release for three years.

This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Sikeston Department of Public Safety.
