Meth Distributer Sentenced to 12 Years in Prison
EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. – Antonio M. Brown, 38, of St. Louis, was sentenced Sept. 19 to 151 months in prison for distribution of methamphetamine. Following his release from federal prison, Brown must complete five years of supervised release.
A federal grand jury indicted Brown on Sept. 21, 2021, for distributing crystal methamphetamine in Sauget, Ill. Brown pled guilty on April 14, 2022.
Brown was selling the drug in bulk in February 2021 from his residence in south St. Louis while on supervised release for federal firearms offenses. Children were present in the home while drug transactions occurred. Based upon evidence of drug dealing activity at his residence, federal agents applied for and executed a search warrant of Brown’s home.
The Drug Enforcement Administration conducted the investigation.
