DEA Washington Division National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Join the DEA Washington Division and our local law enforcement partners as we host the 20th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The DEA Washington Division and our partners will host collection sites to collect tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription drugs across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia, April 24, 2021 from 10am – 2pm EST.
Syringes and other sharps, and illegal drugs will not be accepted. Vaping devices and cartridges will be accepted at all drop off locations, provided lithium batteries are removed.
Helping people dispose of potentially harmful prescription drugs is just one way the DEA Washington Division is working with the community to reduce addiction and stem overdose deaths.
