Survivors Benefit Fund Golf Outing Raises Funds for DEA Families
Detroit,
MI- On June 20, 2003, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Survivors
Benefit Fund held its annual golf outing in Detroit to benefit the families
of DEA's fallen heroes. The outing brings together members of federal, state
and local law enforcement, both active and retired, from throughout the
Detroit metropolitan area. . This year's event was filled to capacity with
many DEA Detroit employees volunteering to assist in making the event a
huge success. The DEA Detroit holds two major fundraisers annually for the
Survivors Benefit Fund with all proceeds directly benefiting the families
of DEA employees and Task Force Agents killed in the line of duty and maintaining
the memory of those individuals.
