DEA Detroit Co-Hosts Drug Prevention Summit on January 22, 2003

On January 22, 2003, the Prevention Coalition of Southeast Michigan (PREVCO), the DEA Detroit Division Office and numerous community health and drug prevention agencies will host a drug summit on "The Dirty Dozen: Twelve Drug Trends in Southeast Michigan." This meeting is designed to be an informative discussion and presentation on the most prevalent drug abuse trends in the Detroit metropolitan area and strategies for reducing their pervasiveness.

This discussion will include presentations by the State of Michigan's foremost experts in the area of drug abuse and enforcement. We invite anyone interested in learning more about the impact drugs are having on our area and society to attend whether you are an individual parent or affiliated with a community based education, religious or professional organization.

The program will be held at the Ambassador Hotel and Conference Center in Southfield, Michigan from 8:30am-2:30pm with a luncheon included. Please review the attached registration form for further information about the speakers and schedule.
