DEA/Newark Division Host 1st Annual Tri-State Managment Conference

Acting SAC Alexander J. Gourley Opening the 1st Annual Tri-State Management ConferenceJUNE 20--On June 11-13, 2003, the DEA/Newark Division with the leadership of Acting Special Agent in Charge Alexander J. Gourley hosted the 1st Annual Tri-State Management Conference held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The management conference culminated three of DEA's Field Divisions, Newark, New York, and Philadelphia.

The overall objective regarding the conference was to implement sound management techniques, leadership skills and coordination throughout all of the divisions. The conference was truly successful with outstanding speakers, break out sessions, and the highlight of celebrating DEA's 30th Anniversary (1973-2003).

Acting Special Agent in Charge Alexander J. Gourley stated " I would like to personally thank SAC Anthony P. Placido, New York Division and SAC James M. Kasson, Philadelphia Division, for their leadership and commitment in making this conference such a success." Further a special thanks to all of the attendees that were a part of DEA's successful management conference.
