DEA New Jersey Division G/S Christopher Roberts presenting Money Laundering Program |
APR 21 --On April 19, 2005 the DEA New Jersey conducted a Money Laundering program for the students at Monmouth University-Forensic Accounting Class. The Drug Enforcement Administration New Jersey Division, Special Agent in Charge Michael Pasterchick, Jr., and Group Supervisor Christopher Roberts addressed the class as G/S Roberts delivered the program.
The course detailed how DEA’s primary goal is to reduce the availability of illegal drugs by disrupting and dismantling the most significant drug trafficking organizations. This includes how we attack the financial infrastructure of drug trafficking organizations. The objective is to track the flow of the drug proceeds, seize the funds and assets, along with eliminating the organizational cell.
After the program, S/A Mark Moger DEA New Jersey recruiter conducted a recruitment seminar regarding the need of accounting and finance majors within the DEA. The overall program was truly successful and DEA New Jersey was invited back to conduct more programs.
