Press Conference Co-Hosted by Acting SAC Alexander Gourley and 180, Turning Lives Around

APR 17--On April 17, 2003, the DEA/Newark Division and 180, Turning Lives Around held a press conference to show the unity between both organizations in a most important event to address sexual assault and prevention month. In addition to the above, DEA/Newark Division invited Ms. Jamie Zuieback from Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network (R.A.I.N.N.) along with DEA/Headquarters, Victim Witness Assistance Program Coordinator, Deborah S. Augustine to join in on the press conference.

DEA/Newark Division Acting Special Agent in Charge Alexander J. Gourley stated, " We are here today as a united force to inform and educate the public about the dangers of Predatory drugs and how they can facilitate sexual assaults.

180, Turning Lives Around, Executive Director Anna Diaz-White stated "The 180 Rape care program works closely with the DEA in providing sensitivity awareness training and expert training about date rape drugs.
