Standing for a Reason…”

SAC Pasterchick welcoming and opening the 2005 Black Affairs Program

FEB 25--On Friday, February 25, 2005 the DEA New Jersey Division, Black Affairs Committee presented “Standing for a Purpose - Standing for a Reason” program for all DEA personnel. The program began with Master of Ceremony S/A Towanda Thorne highlighting the scheduled events. Soon after, Special Agent in Charge Michael Pasterchick, Jr., welcomed and opened the program; the invocation was given by Freddie R. Anderson.

Shortly after, S/A’s Corey Handy, Sr., and William Perry delivered the Moment of Meditation and the Tribute to a Noted African American. The introduction of the Keynote speaker was given by S/A Kenneth Mckindra.

DEA New Jersey was honored to have a true friend in law enforcement the Honorable Paula T. Dow, Acting Prosecutor, Essex County Prosecutor’s Office as the Keynote Speaker for this wonderful event.

The overall program was truly successful and the culinary lunch was delightful.
