NOV 14--Many schools celebrated Red Ribbon Week during the weeks of October 20th and October 27. During these two weeks, DEA representatives visited numerous schools. Students and faculty were reminded that the murder of DEA Special Agent Enrique Camarena in Mexico in 1985 was the tragic event that led to the positive life affirming annual celebration of Red Ribbon Week. The schools visited were: Covington Pathways School, Covington LA; Magnolia Trace Elementary, Mandeville, LA; Fifth Ward, Bush LA; Lutcher High School, Lutcher LA; Covington Elementary, Covington LA; Chateau Estates, Kenner LA; Phoebe Hearst Elementary, Metairie LA; St. Phillip Neri, Metairie LA; St. Pius X, New Orleans LA; John Clancy Elementary, Kenner LA; Schneckenburger Elementary, Kenner LA; Bonabell High School, Kenner LA; Paul J. Solis Elementary, Gretna LA; Pearl River High School, Pearl River LA; Green Park Elementary, Metairie LA; Springville Elementary School, Springville AL; Delcambre High School, Delcambre LA and Pearl River Central High School, Carriere MS
