ANNUAL ENRIQUE “KIKI” CAMARENA
MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT
MAY
07--The Miami Field Division and the DEA Survivors Benefit Fund
hosted the 20th Annual Enrique “Kiki” Camarena golf tournament.
The tournament honors the memory of DEA Special Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena
who was brutally murdered in Mexico in 1985. This year’s event
was especially significant because SA Camarena’s widow, as
well as their son, and Mrs. Camarena’s sister, were in attendance.
This year’s event was highly successful, due to the generosity
of DEA personnel and the many sponsors. Since its inception, the
Survivors Benefit Fund has assisted 34 families of employees by providing
death benefits and individual educational grants for surviving children.
