Wanted: Information On “The Commission”
OCT 25--ST.
CROIX, United States Virgin Islands - The United States Department
of Justice is seeking assistance from the citizens of the U.S. Virgin
Islands. A Federal Task Force is seeking information regarding a
group of individuals in the U.S. Virgin Islands that identify themselves
as “The Commission”. This group is a violent crime organization
operating in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Task Force is seeking historical
and current information about members of “The Commission”.
The Task Force has established two telephone lines to allow the public
to assist Federal Law Enforcement Agencies with this ongoing investigation.
Citizens who dial (340)
713-1497 can leave information
anonymously on an answering machine. This information will be reviewed
by Federal Agents on a daily basis.
Citizens who dial (340) 773-5836 can speak directly with Federal Agents. Information
and or assistance could lead to cash rewards. In addition, should it be warranted,
Federal Witness Protection is available.
