Framingham Police And DEA MET Team Make Arrests

Boston, Ma……. Mark R. Trouville, Special Agent in Charge for the New England Field Division of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, and Steven B. Carl, Chief of the Framingham Police Department announced that as a result of a three month investigation, members of the Framingham Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration executed arrest and search warrants throughout the town of Framingham.

"Framingham is safer today because of the hard work and dedication to duty of the Framingham Police Department, and DEA Mobile Enforcement Team (MET)," said DEA Special Agent in Charge Trouville. "These arrests send a clear message to drug dealers that you will not operate freely on the streets of Framingham. If you sell drugs you will be arrested and prosecuted."

This investigation included undercover purchases of narcotics and the use of surveillance techniques.

Eighteen individuals have been arrested thus far as a result of this investigation. The arrested individuals are currently facing state narcotics charges. This investigation is continuing and more arrests and seizures are anticipated. As of today approximately 88 grams of heroin, 69 grams of crack cocaine and 24 grams of powder cocaine has been seized. A Mossberg 12-gauge pistol grip shotgun was also seized.
