10 Arrested In Everett Drug Operation

Everett, MA….A four month investigation results in 10 arrests.

Mark R. Trouville, Special Agent in Charge of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, New England Field Division, and Steven A. Mazzie, Chief of the Everett Police Department, announced today that as a result of a four month investigation, members of the Everett Police Department, Drug Enforcement Administration, Massachusetts State Police, Saugus Police Department and the Alcohol Beverage Control Commission executed arrest warrants throughout the city of Everett.

This investigation included undercover purchases of cocaine and the use of high tech surveillance equipment. The investigation was initiated after neighbors complained about drug use in and around Mac Donald's café on Ferry Street.

Ten individuals were arrested as a result of the investigation. The arrested individuals are facing a total of 46 separate state narcotic charges. All subjects are facing drug-related charges including multiple counts of distribution of cocaine including school zone violations, conspiracy to violate the drug laws as well as possession of heroin, and possession of controlled prescription drugs.
