Madison
Man Sentenced On Crack Cocaine Charge

- A. Courtney Cox, United States Attorney
for the Southern District of Illinois,
announced that WALTER BURSEY, age
28 of Madison, Illinois, was sentenced
in United States District Court, East
St. Louis, Illinois, to 120 months
imprisonment, a $625 fine, and a term
of 5 years’ supervised release.
The Court also ordered BURSEY to pay
a $110 special assessment.
BURSEY
previously pled guilty on April 5, 2010,
to an indictment charging him with possession
with intent to distribute crack cocaine.
The violation took place on or about
March 12, 2009, in Madison County, Illinois.
The
investigation was conducted by the Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA). The
case was prosecuted by Assistant United
States Attorney Donald S. Boyce. |
