News Release DEA, Arizona AG to Hold Press Conference on Prescription Drug Bust Involving an Arizona Physician JUL 13 -- (Phoenix, Ariz.—July 13, 2009) Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent in Charge Elizabeth W. Kempshall and Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard will hold a press conference today at 2:30 p.m. to announce the results of a 12-month investigation involving the illegal distribution of prescription drugs. The press conference will be held at the DEA’s Phoenix Office, 3010 N. 2 nd St. Kempshall and Goddard will be joined by representatives from the DEA’s Tactical Diversion Task Force, which includes Arizona Department of Public Safety, Phoenix Police Department, Apache Junction Police Department, Peoria Police Department, Surprise Police Department, Mesa Police Department, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, OIG, as well as other agencies involved in the investigation, including Kingman Police Department, Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET), Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Fraud Unit, Nevada Department of Public Safety, Arizona Pharmacy Board and the DEA Digital Evidence Laboratory.
