Project
Recovery Training
AUG
17 -- In August, the New Orleans Division Demand Reduction
Coordinator, Special Agent Cazenavette, partnered with the Mississippi
Department of Mental Health to deliver training to "Project
Recovery" workers. These trainings were done in Gulfport, Gautier
and Purvis. These were contract workers that were doing outreach
work in areas of southern Mississippi that were affected by Hurricane
Katrina. The training gave an overview of drugs and their affect
on the body. S/A Cazenavette spoke to the workers about the hazards
of methamphetamine labs and signs to look for that would indicate
the presence of a methamphetamine lab or the prior existence of one.
