Couple Indicted For Conspiracy To Distribute
Oxycodone

23 -- ( Louisville, KY) - United
States Attorney David J. Hale of the Western
District of Kentucky announced today that
a federal grand jury in Louisville returned
an indictment on July 21, 2010, against
Ernesto Morales, age 42, and Natlie Hall,
age 27, both of Louisville, Kentucky. They
were each charged with conspiracy to possess
with the intent to distribute oxycodone.
The
Indictment alleges that in the months of
May and June of 2010, Morales and Hall conspired
together to intentionally possess with the
intent to distribute oxycodone, a Schedule
II controlled substance.
In
the event of a conviction, the defendant
faces a potential penalty range of up to
20 years imprisonment, a fine up to $1,000,000.00,
and supervised release for a period of at
least 3 years up to life. There is no parole
in the Federal Judicial system.
The
case is being prosecuted by Assistant United
States Attorney Mac Shannon, and it was investigated
by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration
(DEA).
Morales
and Hall are scheduled to appear for arraignment
before the United States Magistrate Judge
on August 17, 2010, at 9:30 a.m., in Louisville,
Kentucky.
