Man Sentenced To Ten Years For Distributing
Multi Ounces Of Crack Cocaine

22 -- (Paducah, KY) - United
States Attorney Candace G. Hill of the
Western District of Kentucky announced
today that Ricky David Wynn, age 51,
of Mayfield, Kentucky, was sentenced
on March 19, 2010, to ten years imprisonment
in United States District Court, Paducah,
Kentucky, for knowingly and intentionally
distributing cocaine base (“crack”).
United States Chief District Judge Thomas
B. Russell, also sentenced Wynn to five
years supervised release following incarceration.
There is no parole in the federal prison
system.
Smith
pled guilty to knowingly and intentionally
distributing approximately 65 grams of
crack cocaine. He was arrested on April
8, 2009, during an enforcement operation
conducted by Special Agents of the United
States Drug Enforcement Administration
(DEA) and officers from the Kentucky State
Police.
The
case was prosecuted by Assistant United
States Attorney Larry Fentress, and was
investigated by the DEA and the Kentucky
State Police.
