DEA Agent Visits Salmen High School

NOV 14-- On October 7, 2003, Special Agent George Cazenavette addressed students at Salmen High School located in Slidell, LA. Ms. Joan Dilkey, a Salmen High School faculty member, arranged for S/A Cazenavette to address the freshman and senior classes. The freshmen class was provided valuable information regarding marijuana in an effort to dispel the many myths surrounding marijuana and its use. The senior class received valuable information related to ecstasy and other club drugs. Seniors were shown images of a human brain that illustrated the deleterious effect that ecstasy has on the brain. S/A Cazenavette and Ms. Dilkey look forward to a future address to sophomores and juniors.
