Bring Your Kids to Work Day

SAC Raffanello handing out badges to the children

The Miami Division office of the Miami Field Division hosted "Bring Your Kids to Work Day". Over 80 children ranging in ages from 4 to 17 participated. SAC Thomas W. Raffanello opened the day by speaking to the children about the importance of their parents' jobs at DEA and how every member of the DEA family has a significant role to play in DEA's mission. The children were shown various aspects of DEA jobs, including forensics, tactical operations, polygraph exams, fingerprinting and a K-9 demonstration. Overall the presentations were successful and well received by the children.
