Drug Enforcement Administration
Celebrates 30 Years of Success

JUN 25--Denver - Today, Jeffrey D. Sweetin, Special Agent of the Rocky Mountain Division, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), announced a 30-year anniversary celebration at the Rocky Mountain Division Office. The DEA anniversary event will feature an unprecedented "open house" to members of the media and law enforcement counterparts at the Rocky Mountain Division Office, 115 Inverness Drive East, Englewood, CO. The purpose of the anniversary open house is to celebrate 30 years of success in Federal drug law enforcement.

Special Agent in Charge Sweetin stated, "For three decades the men and women of DEA have served this nation with bravery and dedication. During these years, 71 have died in the line of duty. Because of our service, the United States is a safer place. We are proud of the work we do, and we want the public to know that we will continue to combat drug trafficking throughout the Rocky Mountain region, the US, and the world."
