National Leader of Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Charged with Illegally Possessing a Firearm

NEWARK, N.J. – Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New Jersey Division Susan A. Gibson and Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Rachael A. Honig announced a Suffolk County, New York, man was arrested today for illegally possessing a firearm.

Keith Richter, aka “Conan,” 62, of Bay Shore, New York, is charged by criminal complaint with one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is scheduled to appear by videoconference this afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Michael A. Hammer.

Drug Trafficker Sentenced to More than Seven Years in Prison

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Today, U.S. District Judge Frank D. Whitney sentenced Jose Flores Romero, 29, of Mexico, to 87 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release on drug trafficking charges, announced Andrew Murray, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of North Carolina.

St. Louis man pleads guilty to murder-for-hire, witness tampering and drug charges

ST. LOUIS – Maurice Woodson, 34, of St. Louis, Missouri, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute cocaine; one count of discharging a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime resulting in death; and one count of witness tampering. Woodson appeared today before U.S. District Judge Henry E. Autrey who accepted the plea.

CONCORD, NH - Preston Elliott, 25, of Dover, was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, DEA New England Division Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Boyle and United States Attorney Scott W. Murray announced today.

Springfield Man Involved in 2014 Murder Sentenced to 16 Years in Prison

HARTFORD, Conn. – DEA New England Division Special Agent in Charge Brian D. Boyle and John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that JOEL JAQUEZ, 36, of Springfield, Massachusetts, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Michael P. Shea in Hartford to 192 months of imprisonment, followed by five years of supervised release, for his role in the murder of a Connecticut man in 2014.
