Fort Myers Drug Trafficker Convicted by Federal Jury

FORT MYERS, Fla. - A federal jury has found Edgar Vazquez (35, Fort Myers) guilty of possessing with the intent to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine.  Vazquez faces a minimum mandatory term of 5 years, and up to 40 years, in federal prison.  Vazquez had been indicted on May 22, 2019.  His sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 14, 2020.

15 charged on drugs and guns charges as part of anti-gang sweep in Concord and surrounding areas

SAN FRANCISCO – Complaints were unsealed in federal court today charging 15 individuals with trafficking drugs and firearms in connection with the Sureños street gang, announced United States Attorney David L. Anderson, ATF Special Agent in Charge Patrick Gorman, FBI Deputy Special Agent in Charge Craig D. Fair, DEA Special Agent in Charge Daniel Comeaux, and Concord Police Chief Mark Bustillos.

Federal, state and local law enforcement arrest seven throughout central Texas for methamphetamine distribution operation

WACO, TX - Federal and state authorities arrested seven individuals in McLennan, Bell and Coryell counties for their roles in a methamphetamine distribution operation, announced Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Special Agent in Charge Steven S. Whipple, Houston Division; U.S. Attorney John F . Bash; and, Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steven McCraw.

Large methamphetamine and fentanyl distribution network dismantled in Evansville, IN

EVANSVILLE, Ind. – Robert J. Bell, Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent in Charge, Chicago Division, and United States Attorney Josh J. Minkler, announced the dismantling of a drug trafficking organization that brought large quantities of illegal drugs into southwest Indiana. Eleven defendants were indicted by a grand jury in Evansville with conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Bates City man charged with illegal firearms, drug trafficking

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A Bates City, Missouri, man has been charged in federal court after law enforcement officers seized nearly two dozen firearms and illegal drugs from his residence.

Daniel Dewayne Gregg, 57, was charged in a two-count criminal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court in Kansas City, Mo., on Friday, Sept. 11. The federal criminal complaint charges Gregg with one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and one count of possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
