Twelve people charged in long-running investigation of Newark G-Shine Bloods

NEWARK, N.J. – DEA New Jersey Division Special Agent in Charge Susan A. Gibson and U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey Craig Carpenito announced 12 members, associates and suppliers of a drug trafficking organization based in Newark have been charged in connection with their roles in distributing heroin, fentanyl and crack cocaine and using firearms to protect their illegal operation.

Third member of cocaine conspiracy sentenced

MADISON, Wis. - Scott C. Blader, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Timothy Hotchkiss, 30, Madison, Wisconsin, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge William M. Conley to 10 years in federal prison for conspiring to distribute 500 grams or more of cocaine.  Hotchkiss pleaded guilty to this charge on May 14, 2019.

Local man guilty of firearms charge in furtherance of drug trafficking

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – A federal jury returned a guilty verdict against a 42-year-old Corpus Christi man for possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, announced DEA Houston Division Special Agent in Charge Will R. Glaspy and U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Patrick.

Mexican national sentenced to 64 months in prison for trafficking fentanyl

NEWARK, N.J. – Special Agent in Charge of the United States Drug Enforcement Administration’s New Jersey Division, Susan A. Gibson, and U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, Craig Carpenito, announced a Mexican national was sentenced today to 64 months in prison for his role in conspiring to traffic approximately 300 grams of fentanyl into New Jersey.
