Five co-conspirators from St. Joseph, Missouri, indicted on $2.1 million dollar methamphetamine conspiracy

(ST. LOUIS) –James P. Shroba, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA St. Louis Division, today announced that five St. Joseph, Missouri, residents had been indicted on a $2.1 million methamphetamine trafficking conspiracy. James P. Pardee, 27, Eleeseea L. Crail, 25, Johnathan S. Graf, 29, Michael R. Ramsel, 26, and Adam C. Lowe, 38, all of St. Joseph, Missouri, were indicted by a grand jury seated in the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri, on the charge of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine from January 1, 2015, through November 16, 2017.

“The cooperation between DEA and the state and local agencies involved in this case resulted in the indictments of people who wanted to destroy our communities,” Special Agent in Charge Shroba said. “DEA is proud and committed to our state, local, and federal partners to continue to investigative those who seek to distribute poison in our neighborhoods with no regard to the damage they cause.”

The indictment alleges the co-defendants all participated together to distribute a minimum of 99 kilograms of methamphetamine over the course of the conspiracy. In addition, the defendants were also charged with money laundering in connection with the listed drug conspiracy.

During the course of this investigation, investigators attempted to stop Pardee on a traffic stop in September of 2017. Pardee fled from officers at that time, exceeding speeds of 100 miles per hour for approximately 9 miles until he crashed his vehicle. Pardee and his female passenger fled from the crash scene, but officers located Pardee and arrested him. Found inside Pardee’s vehicle was a backpack containing more than 2 kilograms of methamphetamine.

This indictment also contains a forfeiture allegation in the amount of $2.1 million, representing the amount of money received in exchange for the co-conspirators unlawful distribution of methamphetamine.

This case was investigated by the DEA, the Plattsburg, Missouri, Police Department, the Atchison County, Kansas, Sheriff’s Office, the Buchanan County, Missouri, Drug Strike Force, the Buchanan County, Missouri, Sheriff’s Office, the Jackson County, Missouri, Drug Task Force, the Clinton County, Missouri, Sheriff’s Office, the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the Cass County, Missouri, Sheriff’s Office, and the Clay County, Missouri, Drug Task Force. This case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri.
