Man Sentenced for Conspiracy to Distribute and Distribution of Crack Cocaine
APR 23- (EAST ST. LOUIS, IL) - A. Courtney Cox, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced that on April 21, 2010, Alejandro VILLA-GOMEZ, age 28, of Mexico, last known address in Caseyville, Illinois, was sentenced in United States District Court in East St. Louis, Illinois. VILLA-GOMEZ was sentenced to 168 months imprisonment, a $300 special assessment, and 5 years of supervised release.
VILLA-GOMEZ had previously pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute
The investigation was conducted under the auspices of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force with the Drug Enforcement Administration as the main agency.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Ranley R. Killian.
