10/30/2015 Rancho Elementary Temecula California During this all school assembly, elementary students will learn about Red Ribbon week, the importance of saying no to drugs, and safety awareness.  
10/29/2015 Enrique Camarena Jr High Calexico California During this all-school presentation, high school students will learn about Red Ribbon Week, drug awareness and effects of drugs on the human body and mind.
10/29/2015 Crosspoint Life Church La Mesa California DEA personnel will talk to kids about the importance of saying no to drugs.  The kids will be given the opportunity to climb inside the DEA clan lab truck and try on bullet proof vests.
10/29/2015 Great Oak High School Temecula California During this all-school presentation, high school students will learn about Red Ribbon Week, drug awareness and effects of drugs on the human body and mind.
10/29/2015 Imperial County Fairgrounds Imperial California The Imperial County Drug Store program consisting of 6-scenes will be presented to 5th and 6th graders focusing on the dangers of drug abuse and the consequences of making bad decisions.  30-40 students will participate in one of scenes with one “role player” student from another school.  The Imperial County Sheriff’s Department, Imperial County Probation, Imperial County District Attorney’s Office, CA Highway Patrol, El Centro Regional Medical Center, Imperial Police Department, US Border Patrol and Gold Cross Ambulance Service partner with DEA in making the Drug Store program a success.
10/29/2015 Camarena Elementary School Chula Vista California Red Ribbon Assembly for K-6th graders that will include a mock undercover arrest scenario and a demonstration by DEA drug detection canines.  There will be various stations for students to try on bullet proof vests, climb inside the DEA Clandestine Laboratory truck, pet drug dogs and to learn more about law enforcement.   The FBI, National Guard, CBP, US Attorney’s Office and local fire departments will also have stations to assist DEA in teaching the children the importance of saying no to drugs.

10/27/2015 La Costa Canyon High School Carlsbad California During this all school assembly, Agents will discuss the negative effects of drug use.  Former drug addicts will be present to speak to the high school students about their negative experiences with addiction.

10/26/2015 Vincent Memorial High School Calexico California During this all-school presentation, high school students will learn about Red Ribbon Week, drug awareness and effects of drugs on the human body and mind.
10/26/2015 Saint Vincent’s School  San Diego California Red Ribbon assembly for K-8th graders that wil include a presentation about Red Ribbon week, Special Agent Enrique Camarena and the importance of saying NO to drugs.  There will be a US Border Patrol K-9 exhibition and a demonstration on life-saving equipment.  K-2nd graders will learn about dangers under the sink, hazards of food versus drug look-alikes and law enforcement careers.  3rd-8th graders will learn about the dangers of street and synthetic drugs, cyber-bullying and law enforcement careers.  
10/26/2015 Allen Elementary School             Chula Vista California Red Ribbon Assembly for K-6th graders that will a mock undercover arrest scenario and a demonstration by DEA drug detection canines.  There will be various stations for students to try on bullet proof vests, climb inside the DEA Clandestine Laboratory truck, pet drug dogs and horses and to learn more about law enforcement.   The FBI, National Guard, CBP, Border Patrol Horse Unit, US Attorney’s Office and local fire departments will also have stations to assist DEA in teaching the children the importance of saying no to drugs.

10/23/2015 TL Waggoner Elementary  Imperial California During this all school assembly, elementary students will learn about Red Ribbon week, the importance of saying no to drugs, and safety awareness.  
10/23/2015 San Elijo Elementary San Marcos California Kindergarten classroom presentation that teaches about the dangers of both prescription and street drugs.  Students will have an opportunity       to try on tactical gear such as bullet proof vests, helmets, tactical belts, etc. 
10/23/2015 Springs Charter School Temecula California This Red Ribbon presentation is for a 2nd grade classroom. The presentation will educate the children about both prescription and street drugs, the dangers of using drugs, and peer pressure.  The students will be given an opportunity to try on bullet proof vests, helmets, and other raid gear. 
 
10/21/2015 Magnolia Elementary School             Carlsbad California Red Ribbon Assembly for K-5th graders that will include a mock undercover arrest scenario and a demonstration by DEA drug detection canines.  There will be various stations for students to try on bullet proof vests, climb inside the DEA Clandestine Laboratory truck, pet drug dogs and to learn more about law enforcement.   The FBI, National Guard, CBP, US Attorney’s Office and local fire departments will also have stations to assist DEA in teaching the children the importance of saying no to drugs.

10/17/2015 Lake Poway Poway California A free Red Ribbon Kick-Off Event at Lake Poway open to the public.  The event includes arts & crafts, a bounce house, face painting, pumpkin decorating, community resources table and a DEA Red Ribbon table for the purpose of educating the public about Red Ribbon week.
10/16/2015 Sheraton Mission Valley San Diego California The Drug Enforcement Administration will co-sponsor the 15th Annual Red Ribbon Luncheon on October 16th which will be attended by more than 275 civic and business leaders, educators, law enforcement, government officials, and youth to honor and award San Diego County individuals and organizations for their outstanding substance abuse prevention endeavors.  The October 16 luncheon is the only event of its kind in Southern California. Geneva "Mika" Camarena will be awarded with the Frank Goldsmith Lifetime Achievement Award for being a leader in the field of drug prevention.
