Operation La Pantera Negra Gets Mexican Traffickers, Large Quantities of Meth
March 12 (Fayetteville, AR) – With the assistance of DEA’s Dallas Field Division, DEA Fayetteville Arkansas agents and DEA Dallas agents executed a search warrant based on information developed during the course of a long-term investigation that led to the seizure of approximately 83 pounds of methamphetamine from a stash house in Dallas. In addition to the methamphetamine, DEA Dallas also arrested two additional suspects and seized five vehicles, one weapon and approximately $30,000.00.
After the seizures in Dallas, Fayetteville DEA Agents executed six federal search warrants in Springdale, Arkansas that resulted in the arrests of ten suspects, the seizure of five vehicles, five weapons, and approximately $3,000.00. The investigation revealed that the methamphetamine sources of supply were based in Springdale, Arkansas; Dallas Texas; ans well as California and Mexico.
The public is reminded that, as in any criminal case, a person is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The charges filed merely contain allegations of criminal conduct.
