DEA Special Agent in Charge Timothy J. Landrum
to Host Prescription Drug Abuse Open House for Members of the Media

SEP 10 - Timothy J. Landrum, Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in Los Angeles, is hosting an Open House for members of the media to discuss prescription drug abuse and the National Drug Take-Back Program. Mr. Landrum is interested in meeting members of the press corps, learning about their interests and concerns, and providing information about the mission of the DEA.

All members of the media wishing to attend the Open House are required to RSVP in advance. Please contact SA Sarah Pullen, preferably via email (, to make a reservation and get further details about the event. Because this is an informal event, cameras and recording equipment will not be allowed during the Q & A portion of the open house. B-Roll depicting pharmaceutical enforcement efforts and high-resolution images of pills will be distributed at this event. Additional items, such as graphics depicting take-back collection locations and pill seizures will be on display for recording/b-roll purposes. Mr. Landrum and a panel of pharmaceutical drug abuse experts can be made available for limited on-camera interviews if requests are received in advance. Please advise Sarah Pullen when making a reservation if you will be bringing camera or recording equipment.
