Man Indicted for Trafficking in Cocaine
Investigation by Shively Police Department and DEA

SEP 10 -- LOUISVILLE, KY - A federal grand jury in Louisville returned an indictment against Christopher H. Tucker, age 35, of 53 McMahan Road, Campbellsville, Kentucky, in Taylor County, on charges of knowingly and intentionally possessing cocaine with intent to distribute, U.S. Attorney David L. Huber of the Western District of Kentucky announced today.

The Indictment alleges that on August 15, 2007, in the Western District of Kentucky, Jefferson County, Kentucky, the defendant, Christopher H. Tucker, knowingly and intentionally possessed a controlled substance, cocaine, with intent to distribute. The street value of cocaine is approximately $100 per gram.

In the event of a conviction, the maximum potential penalties are 30 years imprisonment, a $2,000,000 fine, and supervised release for a period of at least six years.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Larry Fentress, and it was investigated by the Shively Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Tucker is scheduled to appear for arraignment before the United States Magistrate Judge on September 18, 2007, at 9:30 a.m. in Louisville, Kentucky.
