The Liaison and Intergovernmental Affairs office builds bridges, creates new partnerships, and strengthens and supports relationships between the DEA and other federal agencies.  This includes state, local, tribal and campus law enforcement; national and international law enforcement associations; and others within the broad public safety, law enforcement, and homeland security communities.

The Media Relations office plans, coordinates, and implements an agency-wide public information program supporting requests from national media for information and assistance on drug law enforcement and related problems.

The Community Outreach and Prevention Support program is DEA's drug prevention and education initiative to reduce the demand for drugs in this country. The mission is to educate and increase the public's awareness about the dangers associated with using drugs; support national drug prevention initiatives; and foster and support collaborative efforts with the community and national organizations, as well as federal, state and local governments to reduce the demand for drugs.

The DEA Museum and Visitors Center is committed to educating the public on the history of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the impact of drug addiction from past to present. It is free and open to the public (guests over 18 must present a photo ID).

Location: 700 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, VA 22202
Museum Hours are Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm, and closed on Federal Holidays.

NOTE: The DEA Museum is closed due to COVID-19 restrictions.  Please check out the museum at  www.deamuseum.org or on Facebook for further updates on when museum will reopen.
