Quad Cities Men Sentenced to Prison for Drug Trafficking
JAN 30 -- (DAVENPORT, IA) – On January 29, 2009, Anthony William Stigers, age 28 of East Moline, IL, was sentenced to 63 months imprisonment, and today Carlos Pasquale Rubalcava, age 24, of Rock Island, IL, was sentenced to 120 months imprisonment, announced United States Attorney Matthew G. Whitaker. United States District Judge John A. Jarvey also sentenced Stigers and Pizano to serve, respectively, three years and five years on supervised release following completion of their prison sentences and assessed each of them to pay $100 to the Crime Victim Fund.
The defendants were members of a conspiracy to distribute cocaine and marijuana in both the Iowa and Illinois areas of the Quad Cities.
This case was prosecuted by the United States Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa and investigated by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration and Davenport Police Department.
